Saeed Foroughi is one of Canada's best-known multi-talented musicians and performers. For the past 20 years, Saeed has enchanted brides and grooms with his golden harp melodies at wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Saeed is a nationally recognized performer and teacher. He began his musical education at age 10. He has mastered the flute, the Irish harp, the santor and dulcimer. Following his graduation from Trinity College in London, he was principal flutist of the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra for three years. For the past 25 years, Saeed has recorded and performed throughout Canada, appeared in many international festivals, and has completed a tour of Japan.

Saeed is a versatile performer. His music explores Classical, Scottish, Irish, Persian, Ancient, Japanese and Chinese styles, and Christmas favourites. A regular composer and musician for CBC Radio 2, Saeed is well known to music lovers throughout Canada. Saeed has performed for the Governor General and many other dignitaries around the country.
